Cell Line Authentication Services

How cell line authentication works…

Step 1: Contact us to speak to a Cell Line Authentication specialist and arrange receipt of your samples at our laboratory. Authentication of Human Cell Lines by STR DNA Profiling is the gold standard for quality control of any research involving cell lines.

Step 2: Send us your samples. We require one of the following sample types:

  • Purified DNA 10-20ng
  • Cell Pellet of 1×105 cells
  • 100┬Ál Cell Culture Supernatant (mycoplasma testing)
  • DNA Collection Card

Step 3: Identify your original or primary cell source.

Step 4: Receive an STR Allele Report within 5 business days. Electropherograms are available upon request.

Contact us for more information and specific pricing details. Authentication services start at $300.
